PRODUCTION OF HIGH-QUALITY HI-END CORES AND BASIS FOR SPEAKERS

Powerful, reversible high-temperature coils for subwoofers and professional speakers.

Constructive № 1

This is a coil, the winding of which is made inside the frame, with a flat wire * on the rib *, developed about 30 years ago and was successfully used in the production of loudspeakers by the American company McCauley Sound, as well as many European companies and manufactures in Russia.

The coil of construct No. 1 is currently being produced. Production technology is constantly improving. The coil has undeniable advantages over the classic coil with an internal frame. The main advantage is structural strength. A fiberglass frame impregnated with high-temperature resin tightly compresses the winding of copper, aluminum or copper-aluminum flat * on the rib * of the wire. During operation, the coil winding heats up, expands and abuts against the glass fabric frame, increasing the mechanical strength of the structure, even despite the use of glue that does not withstand high temperatures.

In a classic coil, when the winding is warmed up, the glue softens and the mechanical strength decreases. As a result, the winding flies from the frame and the speaker - in repair. Of course, you can burn any coil, but the coil of our construct is much more difficult to burn, and with proper use of acoustics with our coils there are no problems at all.

Loudspeaker manufacturers, using our coil, prefer it over a classic coil.

During the production, an extensive base of equipment has been accumulated for the repair of coils of various loudspeakers.

Constructive № 2

The coil has been developed and launched into experimental production since the beginning of 2019.

Coils are made of rectangular aluminum or copper wire coated with high-temperature varnish with an index of 220 - 240 degrees.

Structurally, the coil consists of 2 layers of wire laid * on the edge *. Each layer is wound in two wires in a plane. The inner layer is reverse relative to the outer layer.

Both layers of the coil are fastened with an internal Kevlar frame on K400 resin. The frame may also be made of fiberglass or segments of aluminum foil. It is more preferable to use a Kevlar or fiberglass inner frame, since it does not heat up, in contrast to an aluminum frame, additionally heated from foucault currents.

The findings are located on top of the coil and connected by welding with strips of copper foil. The lower conclusions of the layers are also connected by welding.

The design of our coil allows us to maintain operability when warming up to 350 degrees and above, which allows us to use our coils in maximum power subwoofers used in test competitions in car sound systems.

Winding the coil of the inner and outer layers “on the edge” allows you to achieve the maximum density of the conductor in the gap and get the maximum heat transfer to the core and flange, in contrast to the classic coil wound with a round or flat wire of 4-6 layers, in which the heat transfer is much worse.

We also use the above presented construct in the manufacture of coils for low-frequency and mid-frequency professional high-power loudspeakers.

Test studies and the operation of loudspeakers with coils of construct No. 2 in the most severe operating conditions have shown excellent results in terms of power output and mechanical strength of the mobile system.

Orders are accepted from 1 coil.

Over the past 5 years, we have also been actively engaged in the production of subwoofer coils using construct No. 1. The result was a sufficiently reliable, powerful, high-temperature coil that meets all the requirements.

But as practice has shown, for test heavy duty subwoofers, where there should be maximum heat removal to the frame, our coils warmed up more, although mechanically they were completely reliable. Greater coil heating creates additional thermal compression and maximum power cannot be obtained.

As a result, construct No. 2 was created with a frame between the winding layers, which allowed us to get rid of the disadvantages of construct No. 1, while retaining the winding on the rib.

To order a coil for repairing a loudspeaker, we need to report the dimensions as indicated in the figure and the Rohm resistance (D.C. Resistance)

Prices depend on the number of coils ordered, winding materials (copper, aluminum or aluminum-copper), design and type - for subwoofers or professional loudspeakers.

The price list is being specified.

We produce high-quality coils for professional speakers and repair any loudspeakers.
